Sonora
Sonora as a new dwelling responds to the topography of the site which has created a new build house in the prairie style essence of American Architecture.
The new dwelling design has stayed true to the initial brief by retaining long horizontal roof forms and simple brickwork elevations which with occasional corbel detailing has created an elegantly proportioned building nestled within it’s immediate and wider context.
Large sliding door units are used to frame the spectacular views from the new dwelling to the distant landscape beyond while offering access to a large, terraced area.
