The Point, Ilkley; An opportunity to design and build this office building was brought to us in 2017, with my previous practice Halliday Clark Architects agreeing to take one quarter of the building. It was an exciting opportunity to design a purpose-built office space that gave us a beautiful space to practice Architecture and showcase our work. I took on the design and delivery of this project, appointed by the developers in a traditional role to act as Lead Designer and Architect throughout RIBA stages 0-7. By also being the end user of the space, the project allowed me to explore in more detail flexible layouts, maximising light within the space and exploring materials.

The project received the Ilkley Civic Society Design and Conservation award in 2019.
